Do I need to travel to Egypt to sign the contract?
In most cases, no. We arrange remote contracting through legally recognised channels (a power of attorney issued at the Egyptian embassy or consulate in your country of residence when needed), and we walk you through every step in the first consultation.
Who pays for the furnishing in the hotel-operation model?
It depends on the formula you choose: under fixed monthly rent, we lease your unit, furnish it entirely at our own expense, and you receive an excellent guaranteed monthly rent. Under revenue share, you fund the furnishing — yourself or through the fit-out package — in exchange for a lower management fee and a higher share of income. We present both formulas with clear numbers before any commitment.
How do I follow my property from abroad?
During fit-out: weekly photo and video reports for every stage. During operation: periodic statements of occupancy, income and expenses, plus a direct line to your account manager at Itqan.
Is hotel-style apartment letting legal in Egypt?
Yes — furnished letting is a regulated activity in Egypt, and Itqan complies with all applicable legal and tax requirements, with notarized contracts protecting both the owner and the guest.
What if I want to use my own apartment during vacation?
That's one of the best perks: book your vacation dates in advance and spend them in your own furnished apartment with full hotel services at a reduced operating rate — the unit returns to letting after you leave.
